Unified Futures Wallet Guide

1. Why should I upgrade to a Unified Futures Wallet?

The Unified Futures Wallet upgrade is designed to improve consistency, usability, and long-term scalability of futures trading. With this upgrade, you will benefit from:

• Consolidate Futures Trading Activities: All futures trading activities will be merged into a single Unified Futures Wallet, providing a centralized and streamlined way to manage your futures transactions.

• Close Existing Isolated Futures Wallets: As part of the upgrade, existing Isolated Futures Wallets will be closed. All assets and trading activities will be consolidated into the Unified Futures Wallet, improving efficiency and overall user experience.

Advanced traders often choose a unified wallet structure for more efficient risk and position management. Once eligible, the upgrade will be applied automatically.

2. What new features will be available after the upgrade?

After the upgrade, you will have access to:

1. Isolated Margin Mode 

2. Hedge Mode and Multiple Position Mode with Isolated Position 

These features allow for more flexible and advanced futures trading strategies within a single wallet framework.

3. How will the upgrade be applied?

The upgrade will be conducted as a forced upgrade for eligible users, with optional early upgrade available.

• Eligible users may choose to upgrade manually when prompted.

• Otherwise, the system will automatically upgrade eligible users during the scheduled rollout.
  
  

No action is required if you meet the eligibility criteria.

4. What are the conditions for upgrading?

To be eligible for the Unified Futures Wallet upgrade, all of the following must be true:

• No active futures positions

• No open futures orders

• No active Futures Grid Trading Bot

• Not using APIs before or during the upgrade process
  
  

Note: Users with API keys are excluded from automatic upgrades.

5. How does the upgrade process work?

Phase 1: Manual Upgrade (Optional)

1. Click Upgrade Now from the notification banner.

2. Ensure all upgrade conditions are met.

3. Read and acknowledge the important notices.

4. Confirm the upgrade.

5. Wait approximately 5 minutes for the process to complete.

Phase 2: Forced Upgrade (Automatic)

• The system will periodically scan for eligible users.

• If all conditions are met, the upgrade will be applied automatically without user action.

6. How will my assets be handled after the upgrade?

• All assets in your Isolated Wallet will be automatically transferred to the Unified Futures Wallet.

• No assets will be lost or reduced.

• The legacy Isolated Futures wallet will be hidden after the upgrade.

7. Important information to note

• The upgrade to a Unified Futures Wallet is irreversible.

• All assets in the Isolated Wallet will be automatically transferred to the unified wallet.

• During the upgrade (approximately 5 minutes), the following features may be temporarily unavailable:
  
  

  • Futures trading

  • Trading bots

  • Bot copy trading

  • Futures wallet transfers

8. Can I revert to the old wallet after upgrading?

No. Once the Unified Futures Wallet upgrade is completed, the change is permanent and cannot be reverted.

9. Will there be any downtime during the upgrade?

The upgrade process will take approximately 5 minutes, during which you will not be able to perform any futures trading, trading bot activities, bot copy trading, or futures wallet transfers.

10. How can I view records from my previous wallet?

All historical records from your previous wallet remain available in the Futures Wallet History section, ensuring continued access to your past transaction data.

11. What should I do if the upgrade fails?

Please verify that all upgrade conditions are met:

• No active futures positions

• No open futures orders

• No active Futures Grid Trading Bot

• No API usage
